Terms of Use

These Terms govern the use of the SOS Trono platform, available at sostrono.com and as a PWA app. By creating an account or using the service, you fully agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. About the service

SOS Trono is a collaborative platform for mapping public restrooms. The data is supplied by the users themselves (registrations, reviews, photos) and by public imports. The service is free for end users.

SOS Trono does not operate, maintain, or take responsibility for the physical restrooms registered on the platform. The information is provided by users and may contain inaccuracies.

2. Sign-up and account

• To contribute (register restrooms, review, upload photos, report) you must have an account.
• To simply view the map, an account is not required.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Use a strong password.
• Minimum age: 13 years.
• Creating multiple accounts for the same person is prohibited.
• Registration information must be truthful. Accounts with clearly false data may be suspended.

3. User conduct

By using the platform, you agree to:

• Register restrooms that actually exist and are accessible to the public (even if a purchase is required);
• Write honest reviews based on real experience;
• Not publish offensive, discriminatory, or hateful content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
• Not upload photos containing identifiable people without their authorization;
• Not upload photos with sexual, violent, or inappropriate content;
• Not use the platform for spam, unauthorized advertising, or illegal activities;
• Not attempt to circumvent moderation mechanisms or rate limiting;
• Not reverse-engineer, mass-scrape, or perform unauthorized automation.

4. User-generated content

By publishing content (restroom registrations, reviews, photos, comments), you:

• Declare that you are the author or have the right to publish that content;
• Grant SOS Trono a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and perpetual license to use, display, distribute, and adapt that content within the platform and in promotional materials;
• Retain the copyright to your original content;
• Acknowledge that public content may be used by other users in accordance with the platform's features (view, quote, share).

SOS Trono may moderate, hide, or remove content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

5. XP and levels system

The XP (experience points) system is purely cosmetic and serves to recognize contributions to the community. XP has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, sold, or transferred.

• Register a restroom: +20 XP
• Write a review: +10 XP
• Upload a photo: +5 XP
• Create a valid report: +3 XP

Attempts to defraud the system (fake registrations, fake reviews, irrelevant photos) may result in removal of XP, blocking of features, or suspension of the account.

6. Limitation of liability

SOS Trono is provided "as is", without warranties. In particular:

• The data is collaborative and may contain inaccuracies. Verify the information before traveling.
• Restrooms may close, change their usage rules, or present conditions different from those described.
• SOS Trono is not responsible for situations occurring in physical restrooms (safety, hygiene, cost).
• We are not responsible for temporary service interruptions, provided that we make reasonable efforts to keep the platform online.
• The user is solely responsible for the content they publish and for the consequences of using the platform.

7. Suspension and cancellation

We may suspend or cancel accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or the Privacy Policy;
• Engage in fraud, abuse, or bad faith;
• Compromise the security or stability of the platform;
• Are the subject of repeated and well-founded complaints.

You may close your account at any time by opening the contact form in the LIOVA chat. After closure, personal data is removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The name SOS Trono, the logo, the visual interface, the source code, and the structure of the platform are protected by copyright and trademarks. Unauthorized commercial use is prohibited.

Public-domain content or content created by users remains under its respective rights.

9. Changes to the service

We may modify, expand, or discontinue platform features at any time, with or without prior notice. Whenever possible, relevant changes will be communicated in advance.

10. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page. In the event of material changes (a significant impact on your rights), we will notify you by email or through the website itself. Continued use after a change implies acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The venue elected is the court of the consumer user's domicile (under the Consumer Defense Code) or, failing that, the platform controller's domicile, with express waiver of any other venue, however privileged it may be.
